Solar & wind power for a one bedroom off-grid house

Typical small to medium domestic power system with back up generator. Single person with workshop and tools, heated greenhouse, domestic lights, fridge and washing machine.
This project is local to REsource headquarters and consists of a small one bed house with sheds, a greenhouse and veg garden. The first year we installed the solar system which supplied the house, formerly powered by a diesel generator. The next year we added a wind turbine to the system to ensure heating in the greenhouse for fruits. With this project we oversaw the entire fabrication of panel rack and turbine mast and erection. |
