Many events either have no campsite lighting or use towers which run on noisy generators. REsource can provide soft lighting that sparkles above camping gently lighting the way back to tents and the solar generator is totally silent making for a good night's sleep, with the bonus of being good for the environment.
As a rough rule we can light the full campsite for a 5000 capacity event or full camping AND main arena for a 2000 capacity event. The lights will come on at dusk and off at dawn, whereas many events run lights all day, another waste of energy!
REsource is unique as we insist on installing our own lights every time. First off we walk the site with the event organiser and make sure we understand their exact vision for the lighting and together we come up with a bespoke design. The festoon strings can be configured in many ways, lighting different walkways, toilets, etc. We take into account any driven ways the lights need to cross and many other considerations, using higher poles where needed. REsource will pre-order the poles required from a local scaffolding firm which reduces transport of heavy materials. We have good relations with many firms around the country. It will take a long day or two, depending on the site, to install the full half a km of lighting.
We take pride in our lighting ensuring that all bulbs are working and in sequence. We can even colour co-ordinate if given enough notice! They are secured to the poles using top grade rope and our own hooks, meeting all safety requirements. This standard of design, installation and management is not found elsewhere.
The festoon bulbs have been made especially for us, thanks to LED Fantastic, and to our strict high standards. They consume less than 1 Watt each and are pretty indestructible plastic orbs. We can also cover all dangerous fittings that may cause a risk to the public within reach.
We have successfully lit the full campsite at The Acoustic Festival of Britain, L Fest and The Good Life Experience, the entire event at Holifair, Northern Green Gathering and Green Gathering and provided area lighting at Solfest, Croissant Neuf Summer Party and The Masked Ball.
